Younger guests are invited to visit a dedicated children's activities centre at Hernando's Hideaway. Guests can enjoy a diversity of leisure activities within this world-acclaimed resort. There are numerous sporting pursuits, plus tours and classes - some going behind-the-scenes, and special places and activities for peace and solitude. The Marine Centre operates a fully accredited 5-Star PADI Dive and Snorkel Centre, and offers game and bottom fishing trips and private charters, plus exciting watersport pursuits from the Hayman Beach and into the Reef surrounds. Hayman has exciting Reef adventures and cruises plus fascinating sailing, seaplane and helicopter trips for guests wishing to skim the surface of the warm waters surrounding Hayman, delve into the fascinating underworld of beautiful coral and fish life, or soar above this amazing world setting. Private charters are also available. The waters surrounding Hayman provide some of the best fishing in the world, with Australian and international records continually established in the region. The Marine Centre conducts escorted half and full day game and bottom fishing trips as well as private charters. The 12.5 metre game fishing boat, Sun Aura, features a spacious deck to allow smooth, quick and easy access to fishing tackle. Charters include hire, equipment, bait and fuel. Fishing charters are available on selected days and are subject to boat availability and weather conditions. Hayman Dive and Snorkel Centre Highly qualified dive instructors conduct a full range of PADI dive courses, escorted day dives, private charters and snorkel safari trips. Also available is the hire and sale of dive gear and snorkel equipment, plus access to a guest storage area and change room facilities. Complimentary
